Our rules of conduct are relatively lenient. Above all, we ask that users demonstrate reasonable respect toward one another. If another user engages in offensive or otherwise objectionable behavior, our recommendation is to simply place that user in your client's ignore list. The messages from a user who has been placed in an IRC client's ignore list will no longer be displayed by the client.
Please comply with and expect enforcement of the following:
1. Do not flood system channels or users by any means.
2. Do not harass other users.
3. No mass/repeated advertising of channels, websites, IRC networks, URLs, etc.
4. No excessive clones. You may have concurrent clients in each of the respective channels on all six relayed networks. You may not have more than 3 clients in any one of those channels.
5. Non-malicious bots may be permitted with prior approval. However, there must be a valid reason for each bot's presence.
6. Channel takeover attempts are grounds for a permanent ban.
7. Offensive nicknames/channels may not be permitted (at the discretion of channel operators).
8. Any attempt by a user to circumvent or evade a ban placed by a channel operator will be considered a violation and may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the entire system.
9. All decisions of channel staff members are final.
